Flu campaign 2024

For most patients this season’s flu campaign commences in October and we are running Saturday clinics on the following dates at Mattishall Surgery.

Over 65 patients – 5^th/19th October and 2^nd/30^th November

‘At risk’ patients under 65 – 2^nd/30^th November

We are also running early morning or late evening clinics on the following dates at Mattishall Surgery

Over 65 patients – 3^rd/31^st October

‘At risk’ patients under 65 – 10^th/29^th/31^st October and  7^th November

Lenwade clinics are running during normal surgery opening hours

Over 65 patients – 15^th/18^th/25^th October and 5^th November

‘At risk’ patients under 65 – 21^st/28^th October

Patients can attend either site.

Only pregnant women and children are eligible from 1^st September.  Those aged 2/3 and ‘at risk’ will be sent an invite during September and school aged children will be offered a nasal flu vaccine via the schools program.   

If we have your mobile number eligible patient will have been sent a directly bookable link in a text message.  This is the easiest way to book a flu vaccine but our Reception Team will be happy to book your appointment if you call on 01362 850227 (please call after 10am).  If you have not already provided a mobile number or have a new number please see a Receptionist to update your record as we now send most vaccine invites in this way.

Housebound patients will be contacted to arrange a visit by the District Nurse and our Nursing Team will be visiting the care homes and Bob Carter Court.
